Cards to strangers

I haven't been very crafty this Summer. In fact I think I made these cards already in May. My mind has been on other things so the only craft related project has been crochet. Anyway, about these cards... The two Santoro Gorjuss girls I stamped with a black ink and colored with the plain wooden color pencils. The backgrounds are scrapbook papers but the patterns could be easy to make with watercolors. The yellow zig zags are washi tapes. I didn't have any suitable sentiments or other text to add. The theme on the cards was "Ihmiseltä ihmiselle" which translates "From a human being to a human being". The poem (not sure if it was a song) is about supporting and accepting the other being.

The background paper on the confirmation card below has gold foiled dots, or they could be tiny squares, too. There was going to be a sentiment built from the Nellie Snellen alphabet stickers but I decided not to use it. I don't like using the thin vinyl (?) stickers. They are so difficult to handle, especially the ones I have. They are too small for my fingers. The cross could have been more visible. Now it disappears between the chains. I don't remember from which card topper sheet I cut the rose from, it could have been by Marianne Design but I'm not sure.
