This was a fun and a bit different papercrafting project which I decided to make. In a Finnish papercraft related Facebook group there was a challenge to create an envelope flipbook and to send it filled with happy mail goodies to a secret group member. The theme for that challenge was Fantasy but as you can see this is not that fantasy-looking. I decided not to participate in that challenge because my crafting stash did not have that much papers or other supplies to fit in that theme. However, there was an other group member who had the same issue and asked if we could pair up and swap an envelope flipbook of our own theme. We chose the theme Nature, and since both of us had never created anything of this type we agreed to keep the level as "beginner".

Creating that Nature themed envelope flipbook was so much fun that I made another one. This one I made for my sister. I had already a couple of weeks ago made her a birthday card so I thought I could make an envelope flipbook to go with it. For this one I used the papers by The Paper boutique (UK). I had used a card topper and a paper from the same set when making the owl card. You can see the card in the last picture.

Ensinnä olevan "envelope flipbookin" tein osallistuessani Facebookissa olevan Paperimaailma-ryhmän haasteeseen. Alkuperäisessä haasteessa piti toteuttaa Fantasia-aiheinen "kirjekuori-albumi", joka tuli lähettää happy mail -aineksilla täytettynä salaisena yllätyksenä toiselle ryhmän jäsenelle. Minulla ei ollut siihen aiheeseen riittävästi materiaalia, joten jättäydyin pois haasteesta. Kunnes sitten eräs toinen ryhmäläinen ehdotti, että toteuttaisimme haasteen muulla aiheella ja lähettäisimme aikaansaannokset toisillemme. Päädyimme käyttämään Luonto-aihetta.
Pöllö-aiheisen kirjekuori-albumin tein samalla innostuksella siskolleni syntymäpäivälahjaksi. Viimeisessä kuvassa on kortti ja yllätykset kirjekuoriin. Yllätyspusseihin sujautin askarteluun liittyviä juttuja.
