A close-up on those flowers
This is what became of my art journal spread for the Lindy's color challenge June 2020. On the last day I decided to put something on the paper. No idea nor inspiration... just splashing the colors to the paper and spreading them with water and brushes. This time I used Lindy's sprays for coloring. I put the colors on the papers, dried them with heat tool and added more color layers when needed.

The monstera leaves
I sketched and cut paper patterns for the monstera plant's leaves as well as for the star-shaped flowers. I wanted this to be a quick piece so I didn't go for anything difficult. After cutting out the monstera leaves and the blue flowers I took a black marker and used it to draw lines to the edges. I also made some shading by drawing many quick lines. I didn't care that much if the lines look ugly. The monstera leaves I just glued down flat but the flowers I shaped a bit before gluing. I added drops of white Liquid pearls by Ranger to the center of the flowers. Afterwards I noticed that all the flowers were pointing the same direction and the two were "holding hands". I decided to leave them like that.
